Tyre, Vibram or Gogo Zero Sole, Which Suits You?

Choose a tyre sole for a sturdy traditional build, a Vibram sole for grip on long days on foot, or a Gogo zero sole for the lightest pair. The same upper is set on different soles, and the sole decides how the pair feels.

• Tyre rubber sole. The traditional, sturdy build on the Takidar, Zalmi and woven pairs.
• Vibram sole. A high traction rubber sole made for longer days on foot.

• The seller names the material, such as genuine cow leather, rather than just “leather look”.
• The stitching is even and secure along the edges and at every join.
• The sole is attached cleanly, with no glue marks or gaps at the edge.
• The pair sits level on a flat surface and the size guide gives a heel to toe length.

Charsadda vs Peshawari, Kaptaan and Zalmi Chappal

Every Charsadda chappal is a Peshawari chappal. Charsadda names the place, Peshawari names the style, and some sellers call it a Charsadda kheri or Charsadwal chappal. The Kaptaan chappal is the wide strap style, the Panjedar chappal has an upper of five stitched straps and an open toe, and the Norozi chappal is the Quetta build on a thick tyre sole. Charsadda Leather and UK Sizes

Every pair has a genuine leather upper. The newest Gol T, Vibram and Gogo pairs use full grain leather, and the woven and Smart Zalmi pairs use cow leather. Sizes run from UK 6 to 12, measured from the back of the heel to the tip of the longest toe, and custom sizes are made to order.
